"I grew up on Mallorca seeing these traditional Mallorquin fabrics (Tella de Llengües) used for cushions and curtains, but a trip to Tanzania and seeing the creative ways Tanzanians used their fabrics inspired me to apply the same concepts to my home island and create Alto Alm" ~ Sebastian Alm

HOW ITS MADE

Our fabric is thoughtfully designed using a blend of 95% Viscose & 5% Elastane. This combination not only ensures a comfortable and breathable feel, perfect for a stylish summer, but it also boasts biodegradability. We prioritize the use of sustainable materials, and Viscose, derived from renewable wood pulp from responsibly sourced forests, aligns perfectly with our ethose.

Moreover, we believe in keeping the production process within the island. Each ALTO ALM garment is meticoulously hand painted and cut & sewn here, allowing us to support the local community and ensure fair labour practices.
